Wa’ahila Ridge to Mount Olympus

Video here!

Hans, Tyler, Alexa, and I hopped on the bus around noon. A half hour or so later we had ascended over 1000 feet in elevation to the top of the St. Louis Drive neighborhood. The bus dropped us off right across from the Wa’ahila Ridge State Recreation Area. After a short walk through some Cook pines, we reached the start of the trail. Around an hour in, we reached the end of the Wa’ahila Ridge Trail and continued past towards Mount Olympus. After a half dozen ups and downs, we neared the use of Mount Olympus, but the wind and rain and mud made us turn around before summiting. Took ~5 hours round trip. Very muddy and fun.
